Musnad ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī
Ḥarīz ibn ʿUthmān reported: I asked ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr, Companion of the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ, “Was the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ an old man?” He said, “He was more youthful than that, but he had, in his beard, or perhaps he said in his ʿanfaqah, a few white hairs.”

ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: My sister would sometimes send me with something as a gift to the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ, and he would accept it from me.

Musnad ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī
Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥasan ibn Ayyūb al-Ḥaḍramī reported: ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr showed me a mole on the side of his head (qarn), and I placed my finger on it. He said, “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ placed his finger on it and said, ‘You will surely live a qarn (century or full lifetime).’” Abū ʿAbdullāh added, “And he [ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr] had long hair reaching his shoulders.”

Musnad ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī
Ḥassān ibn Nūḥ al-Ḥimṣī reported: I saw ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) saying, “Do you see this palm of mine? I bear witness that I placed it on the palm of Muḥammad ﷺ.” He forbade fasting on Saturday except as an obligatory fast, and said, “If one of you finds nothing but the bark of a tree, let him break his fast with it.”

Musnad ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī
ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that his father prepared food for the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ and invited him, and he accepted the invitation; and when he had finished eating, he supplicated, “O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, and bless what You have provided them.”

Musnad ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī
ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: My father sent me to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ to invite him to a meal, and he came with me. As I drew near our house, I hurried ahead and told my parents, who came out to receive and welcome the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ. We spread out for him a woolen cloak that we had, and he sat on it. My father then said to my mother, “Bring your food.” She brought a wooden bowl containing flour that she had kneaded into a paste with water and salt. I set it before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ, and he said, “Take, in the name of Allah, from around its sides, and leave its top, for the blessing is in it.” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ ate, and we ate with him, and some remained. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ supplicated, “O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, bless them, and grant them abundance in their provision.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي أَبِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَدْعُوهُ إِلَى طَعَامٍ فَجَاءَ مَعِي فَلَمَّا دَنَوْتُ مِنَ الْمَنْزِلِ أَسْرَعْتُ فَأَعْلَمْتُ أَبَوَيَّ فَخَرَجَا فَتَلَقَّيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَحَّبَا بِهِ وَوَضَعْنَا لَهُ قَطِيفَةً كَانَتْ عِنْدَنَا زِئْبِرِيَّةً فَقَعَدَ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبِي لِأُمِّي هَاتِ طَعَامَكِ فَجَاءَتْ بِقَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا دَقِيقٌ قَدْ عَصَدَتْهُ بِمَاءٍ وَمِلْحٍ فَوَضَعْتُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ خُذُوا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مِنْ حَوَالَيْهَا وَذَرُوا ذُرْوَتَهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ فِيهَا فَأَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَكَلْنَا مَعَهُ وَفَضَلَ مِنْهَا فَضْلَةٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَوَسِّعْ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَرْزَاقِهِمْ
Musnad ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr al-Māzinī
Ibrāhīm ibn Abī ʿAblah reported: I saw ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmr ibn Umm Ḥarām al-Anṣārī (may Allah be pleased with him), who had prayed with the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ toward both qiblahs, wearing a dust-colored garment of khazz. Ibrāhīm gestured with his hand to his own shoulders, and Kathīr [ibn Marwān] took this to mean it was a riḍāʾ (upper wrap).

Al-Hirmās ibn Ziyād al-Bāhilī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ while my father had me ride behind him on a donkey; I was young, and I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ delivering a sermon at Minā on his she-camel al-ʿAḍbāʾ.

Musnad Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Kilābī
Ayman ibn Nābil Abū ʿImrān reported: I heard a man among the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ, called Qudāmah, meaning Ibn ʿAbdullāh, say, “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ stone Jamrat al-ʿAqabah on the Day of Sacrifice.” Abū Qurrah [Mūsā ibn Ṭāriq] added: Sufyān al-Thawrī added to me, in Ayman’s hadith, “[He did] this while on a reddish-brown she-camel, without shouting, driving away, or saying ‘make way, make way.’”

Ayman ibn Nābil reported: I heard an elderly man of Banū Kilāb, called Qudāmah ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmmār, say, “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ, on the Day of Sacrifice, stoning the Jamrah from atop a reddish-brown she-camel of his, without striking, without driving away, and without saying ‘make way, make way.‘”

Yūsuf ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn Salām (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ named me Yūsuf and wiped over my head.

Yūsuf ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn Salām (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ sat me on his lap, wiped over my head, and named me Yūsuf.
