Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “I and an orphan who was with us in the house, Sufyān said on one occasion: ‘in our house,’ prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ had come to visit them in their home. Umm Sulaym prayed behind us.”

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “A Bedouin came and urinated in the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ said: ‘Pour a large bucket or vessel of water over it.’”

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “A Bedouin entered the mosque during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ and urinated. The people rebuked him, but the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ said: ‘Leave him,’ and he commanded that water be poured over it.”

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ never grieved over an expedition as he grieved over them; they were called the Qurrāʾ, the reciters of the Qurʾān.” Sufyān [ibn ʿUyayna] said: “Regarding them was revealed [the passage]: ‘Convey to our people on our behalf that we have met our Lord and He is pleased with us and we are pleased with Him.’” Sufyān was asked: “About whom was it revealed?” He said: “About the people of Biʾr Maʿūnah.”

He then came out to us startled and alarmed, and said: ‘Were it not that you would stop burying one another, I would have asked Allah to let you hear of the torment of the people of the graves as I hear it.’”

Al-Mukhtār ibn Fulful reported: “I asked Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) about drinking from vessels. He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ prohibited pitch-coated vessels, and said: Every intoxicant is forbidden.’ I asked: ‘What is a muzaffata?’ He said: ‘It is a tar-sealed vessel.’”

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ said: “Whoever lies about me, let him take his seat in the Hellfire, intentionally.” He said it twice. And on another occasion [the wording was]: “Whoever intentionally lies about me.”

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ would say: “O Allah, I seek refuge with You from incapacity and laziness, and from cowardice and decrepit old age, and from miserliness and the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the trial of life and death.”

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ was asked about the time of the Fajr prayer... He commanded Bilāl when dawn first broke to call the iqāmah for prayer. Then the next day he waited until the sky brightened considerably, and then said: ‘Where is the one who asked about the time of the morning prayer? The time is between these two .’”
