When a person who is sexually impure wants to have intercourse again, he should perform ablution
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'If anyone of you has intercourse with his wife, then he wants to do it again, let him perform ablution.'"

It was narrated from Anas that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to go round to all his wives with one bath.

It was narrated that Anas said:
"I put out water for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for a bath, and he had a bath after going to all of his wives in one night."

Concerning one who has a bath after intimacy with each (of his wives)
It was narrated from Abu Rafi' that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) went around to all of his wives in one night, and he had a bath after each one of them. It was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, why not make it one bath?" He said: "This is purer, better and cleaner."

Concerning eating and drinking of one who is sexually impure
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"If the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution."

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:
"The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about whether a person who is sexually impure can sleep, or eat, or drink. He said: 'yes, if he does ablution as for the prayer.'"

It was narrated from 'Aishah that:
If the Prophet (ﷺ) wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would wash his hands.

What was narrated concerning reciting Qur’an when one is not in a state of purity
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Salamah said:
"I entered upon 'Ali bin Abu Talib and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to go to the lavatory and relieve himself, then come out, and he would eat bread and meat with us and recite Qur'an, nothing stopped him' or perhaps he said: 'prevented him from doing so except sexual impurity.'"

Under every hair there is a state of sexual impurity
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Under every hair there is the state of sexual impurity, so wash the hair and cleanse the skin.'"

Under every hair there is a state of sexual impurity
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari narrated that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The five daily prayers, from one Friday to the next, and fulfilling the trust are all expiation for whatever (sins) come between them." I said: "What is fulfilling the trust?" He said: Having a bath to cleanse oneself from sexual impurity, for under every hair there is the state of sexual impurity."

Under every hair there is a state of sexual impurity
It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever leaves an area the size of a hair on his body and does not cleanse it from sexual impurity, such and such will be done to him in the Fire." 'Ali said: "Because of that I am hostile towards my hair," and he used to shave his head.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ زَاذَانَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَوْضِعَ شَعَرَةٍ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ لَمْ يَغْسِلْهَا فُعِلَ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنَ النَّارِ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فَمِنْ ثَمَّ عَادَيْتُ شَعَرِي وَكَانَ يَجُزُّهُ

The woman sees in her dream what men see
It was narrated from Zainab, the daughter of Umm Salamah, that :
Her mother Umm Salamah said: "Umm Sulaim came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked him about a woman who sees in her dream something like a man sees. He said: 'Yes, if she sees water (discharge), let her take a bath.' I said: 'You have embarrassed the women. Do women experience wet dreams?' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'May your hands be rubbed with dust, how else does her child resemble her?'"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ جَاءَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ فَقُلْتُ فَضَحْتِ النِّسَاءَ وَهَلْ تَحْتَلِمُ الْمَرْأَةُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ تَرِبَتْ يَمِينُكِ فَبِمَ يُشْبِهُهَا وَلَدُهَا إِذًا

The woman sees in her dream what men see
It was narrated from Anas that:
Umm Sulaim asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a woman who sees in her dream something like that which a man sees. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If she sees that and has a discharge, then let her perform a bath." Umm Salamah said: "O Messenger of Allah, does that really happen?" He said: "Yes, the water of the man is thick and white and the water of a woman is thin and yellow. Whichever of them comes first or predominates, the child will resemble (that parent)."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ وَعَبْدُ الأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا رَأَتْ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْزَلَتْ فَعَلَيْهَا الْغُسْلُ فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيَكُونُ هَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ مَاءُ الرَّجُلِ غَلِيظٌ أَبْيَضُ وَمَاءُ الْمَرْأَةِ رَقِيقٌ أَصْفَرُ فَأَيُّهُمَا سَبَقَ أَوْ عَلاَ أَشْبَهَهُ الْوَلَدُ

The woman sees in her dream what men see
It was narrated from Khawlah bint Hakim that:
She asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a woman who sees in her dream that which a man sees. He said: "She does not have to take a bath unless she has an orgasm, just as man does not have to take a bath unless he has an orgasm."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ حَكِيمٍ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا غُسْلٌ حَتَّى تُنْزِلَ كَمَا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ غُسْلٌ حَتَّى يُنْزِلَ

Concerning women taking a bath to cleanse themselves from sexual impurity
It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:
"I said, O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman with tight braids. Should I undo them when I take a bath to cleanse myself from the state of sexual impurity?" He said: "Rather it is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water over yourself, and you will be purified," or he said: "In that case you would have become purified."
Concerning women taking a bath to cleanse themselves from sexual impurity
It was narrated that 'Ubaid bin 'Umair said:
"Aishah heard that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr was telling his wives to undo their braids (when they bathed). She said: 'How odd that Ibn 'Amr would do that! Why does he not tell them to shave their heads? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I used to bathe from a single vessel, and I never did more than pour three handfuls of water over my head.'"
Is it sufficient for one who is sexually impure to immerse himself in standing water?
It was narrated from Bukair bin 'Abdullah bin Ashajj that:
Abu Sa'ib, the freed slave of Hisham bin Zuhrah, told him that he heard Abu Hurairah say: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'No one of you should bathe in standing water when he is sexually impure.'" He (Abu Sa'ib) said: "What should he do, O Abu Hurairah?" He said: "Let him take some out (and pour it over himself)."
It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by (the house of) one of the Ansar and sent word for him to come out. He came out with his head dripping and (the Prophet) said: "Perhaps we made you hurry?"He said: "O Messenger of Allah." He said, "If you are hurried (by someone) or obstructed (from orgasm) and do not ejaculate, then you do not have to take a bath, but you should perform ablution."
